Cave Exploration

Jan 9, 2015

We are rapidly approaching the reality of the DIYcave being in an actual building! The building is in plan review with the city, and the construction is moving along like construction always does. I took a little hobby level quadcopter down to the building and (poorly) flew it all around. Here are the highlights (meaning all the crashes are edited out) and I saved the best bits for the end.

The building is the old “Pakit Liquidators” building on 9th street, near Wilson. It has some really wonderful architecture inside from its days as part of the lumbermill.

We are currently looking for pictures of the building from back in the heyday of its prime, so if you have any pictures of the old Lundgren Mill buildings, please let us know at info@diycave.com
