Celebrate Mother’s Day by creating something meaningful, handmade, and truly one-of-a-kind. In this special Metal Clay workshop, you’ll discover the magic of transforming soft silver clay into real silver jewelry—perfect as a heartfelt gift or a keepsake for yourself.

Metal clay is a moldable material made from pure silver, allowing you to sculpt, texture, and shape pieces that carry your personal touch. Whether you’re making a pendant for mom, matching earrings for a daughter, or something symbolic just for you, this class is all about creating with intention.

During this workshop, you’ll design and create silver pendants or earrings while learning the fundamentals of working with metal clay. We’ll explore texturing techniques, meaningful design ideas, and how to set fire-in-place cubic zirconia stones for an extra bit of sparkle.

This class meets over two evenings:

Night One (3 hours): Design and create your jewelry pieces. Think florals, initials, or organic textures inspired by the season. Your pieces will be kiln-fired by the instructor.

Night Two (1.5 hours): Learn polishing, antiquing, and finishing techniques to bring your silver jewelry to life—ready to gift or wear.

You’ll also be introduced to torch-firing metal clay, giving you the confidence to continue creating at home.

Perfect for beginners and returning students alike, this is a beautiful way to slow down, get creative, and make something that lasts longer than flowers.

If you have personal protective equipment, please bring it with you. Otherwise, protective gear will be provided as needed.

Prerequisites

No Experience Required.

Ages 14+ welcome if accompanied by a parent/guardian. Both need to register and pay.

Refunds, Credits & Transfers

We understand that emergencies happen, so if you are unable to attend your class and you cancel with:

• More than 14 (fourteen) days notice before your class, you may request a full refund or transfer the full amount paid to another class.

• Less than 14 (fourteen) days notice before your class, your payment is non refundable. However you may transfer the amount paid, minus a 15% cancellation fee, to any class within 90 days of request. It is not guaranteed that a comparable class will be offered within 90 days.

• Less than 48 (forty eight) hours before your class begins, your payment is non refundable. It is extremely difficult to fill cancelled spaces with short notice.

• After class start date/time: No credits, refunds or prorating of fees will be given for missed portions or early withdrawals.

Changes or Cancellations

DIYcave reserves the right to cancel any class, limit class size, change class times or substitute instructors for those listed in the schedule. If a class is canceled, students may choose to receive a full refund or may transfer – with no fee – to another class or workshop. If DIYcave cancels for any reason, all payments can be refunded.
